Peninsula Hot Springs lawns are unreserved picnic style, so picnic rugs are recommended. You may bring low level chairs for your comfort, however, please note that staff will ask guests with tall back or highchairs to populate the rear section of the Awaken event lawns. This will ensure all guests receive the same great view of the stage. Oversize, inflatable chairs and bean bags are not permitted.
As an outdoor event, the event is subject to weather. Please note the Awaken event will proceed rain or shine. The planned Awaken event will be cancelled only if the weather poses a safety threat to patrons, staff, or performers at Peninsula Hot Springs during the event time.
We strongly recommend you come prepared with wet weather gear, raincoats and ponchos and something waterproof to sit on in case of rain (umbrellas may be used at the rear of the lawn only).
We endeavour to provide as much notice as possible regarding any changes to performances due to weather, however as weather conditions are unpredictable this status may change at any time. The decision to delay or cancel a show is made by the Event Manager on site and can be made at any time up to or during the performance. Any changes to performance times due to weather will be communicated via Peninsula Hot Springs social media channels and website.
Patrons accept that in purchasing a ticket they are paying for an event that commences at approximately 9am in the Food Bowl at Peninsula Hot Springs and that weather conditions prior to that time and in other parts of the Mornington Peninsula will not result in the performance being cancelled. Patrons accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur during the event and acknowledge that the program may be altered or cancelled by Peninsula Hot Springs due to dangerous weather conditions at the time of or during the performance.
