Future Sound of Yoga

The Future Sound of Yoga is the creation of Angel and Matt Singmin – two music-passionate yogis that met by chance in the dance tent at Glastonbury, UK, while watching the Chemical Brothers. The project was born on 15 Jan 2010 when they ran an experimental yoga/dance session in Sydney, which fused their shared passion for movement and cutting-edge music. The experience struck a chord with yoga and music lovers alike, providing an alternative night out experience where people could hear great music, move and self-express.

Since then they have toured extensively around Australia, performing at music festivals (Splendour in the Grass, Peats Ridge, Playground Weekender) and headlined at major yoga festivals (Wanderlust, Byron Spirit, Sydney Spirit, Bodhi, the Phoenix Weekend, Bondi Yoga Festival).

On the international stage, they have been featured at the Bali Spirit Festival, the Hawaii Spirit Festival and the Hong Kong Asia Yoga Conference, as well as in London where they held a weekly Saturday night residency at the Life Centre in the summer of 2011. Today they continue to be based in Sydney running regular events in the city.
